Hands shot up in my class all the little bodies eager to answer so they can earn a treat.

'It's 4! She shouted
'Correct' I said as I gave her a treat (ding, ding, ding) that was the bell telling us that it was time for dismissal. As the kids gather their things and prepare to go home, I walk over to my desk and check my phone and see I have 10 new messages and 24 new emails. I glance up and notice Gabriela staring at me, I smile at her and she smiles back and continues to gather her things.
"Ms. Teser" Kimberly yelled out
'Yes' I replied
'Who's going to feed Mr. Cheeks?'
'You can Kimberly' Mr. Cheeks was the classes pet hamster and all the kids loved to feed and play with him.
After she feeds him, I line the class up, car riders, walkers and daycare children in one line and bus riders in the other. As we walk towards the front of the school I say goodbye to my kids and Gabriela runs up and gives me a hug, then she runs off and gets on her bus. I watch the rest of the kids load up and after the buses leave, I head back to my room pack my belongings and head home. While driving home my best friend Giselle calls.
G: Hey girl how was your day
C: It was excellent all the kids passed their spelling tests today, so they all earned treats
G That's good what you getting into tonight
C: Girl I gotta answer these emails and figure out what I'm wearing to this event Saturday
G: I found my dress jus gotta get dolled up tomorrow so what time you coming through or are they coming to your house again and if so what time should I be there
C: Now you already know how I roll be at my crib at 9
G: Better yet I'll come tonight we can have a girls night and get turnt up
C: HELL YEA BET THAT SHIT
G: I'm packing my shit now and Ima call Chris and tell her meet us over there
C: Good do that we need to link up anyway before we gotta act all proper and shit tomorrow
G:*yells* YESSSSS GIRLLLLLL
C: You are silly but I'll be at the house in about 30 mins yall just come on in
G: Gotcha we on the way bye girl see you ina few
We hang up and I call my house keeper to let her know we having a girls night and to get the house ready. I pull up a few mins later go in check my emails and messages shower and relax. A few minutes later my two loud as hell besties come walking through the door and we start drinking and eating and calling more friend to come over and next thing I know we having a full house party. Oh by the way let me introduce myself. I'm Charlette Teser millionaire widow to Michael Teser of Teser and Teser incorporated the world's largest real estate investors. I am now a school teacher at Polymono Elementary School. I know many of you are wondering why did I have a major career change well lets just say my husband died tragically and suddenly and I slipped into a deep depression and that's all I remember after I woke up one day in a hospital room and was told that I was in a coma for a year and that my husband died 2 yrs prior and they read me my life story. Afterwards I went through therapy regaining my ability to walk, talk, and live on my own as an adult. I had no family cause I was a foster child to begin with and never had a home. I remembered everything my childhood, how I became a success, how I met my husband our dreams I remembered it all except after he died it was a blur. but anyways I'll tell you more later. We were partying all night and hardly woke up the next morning to get pampered and dolled up for the night. I was invited to an all white party for a colleague who was celebrating 20 years in business. The event was extravagant and me and Giselle had a blast. We got home around 2 and I crashed in my bed and she took my guest room and we slept til 12 pm. I woke up hungry and got me something to eat we lounged around for a while and she left around 4 to get ready for work tomorrow. And i stayed on the couch watching tv til around 8. I got up and took a shower and laid in my bed til my alarm woke me at 5:30 reminding me that it was time for school. I woke up worked out for 30 minutes, showered, dressed and ate and was out the door by 7. It was Monday so that meant a whole new lesson plan new words to learn,new numbers to count too, new problems to solve, and many smiles to brighten my day. I arrive at work and start setting up it 7:30 so the school buses are going to start pulling in and unloading students. I walk to the cafeteria to greet the students and make sure they eat their breakfasts and are ready for the day. The students finish eating and they grab their things and head to the classroom I follow just to make sure nothing happens or any new kids get lost. I greet my students and we start our day, the announcements come on and we say the Pledge of Allegiance to both flags and listen to the announcements when they are finished we continue our day. After a long day of teaching and laughing the dismissal bell rings and the students are eager to go. I line them up as usual and walk them down the hall, again Gabriela runs up and gives me a hug but this one is different. She hugs me like she doesn't want to let go and then hands me a note. I put the note in my pocket and watched her as she got on the bus. She looked sad like she didn't want to leave me at all. She whispered through the window read the note and held her hand up on the window as the bus rolled away. I opened the note and almost fell to my knees.
